Pololu switches differences

Hi,
excluding the push/slide switch, is there other differences between these 2 Pololu switches?

Does the second one should be ok for Tonuino purposes? I ask this because in Italy I can’t find the push version…

Thanks

You can use the second switch, but you have to connect the switch a little bit different like the first.
For switching on you have to use the sw pin to ground with a button normally open. The Pin ON you have to connect with the PowercontrolPin of the arduino. This Pin must be configured, that it goes HIGH after turning on the Tonuino. If the PowercontrolPin goes to LOW from the StandbyTimer the Pololu will turn OFF. The slideswitch on the Pololu have to stay in the OFF position all times. If you turn On the Tonuino you have to press the ON Button for 3 to 5 seconds, till the PowercontrolPin of the Arduino is going HIGH. If you press the ON Button to short the Tonuino will not stay in the ON mode.

If you want, you can use the Play-Pause Button to switching on the Pololuswich too. You need an additional Diode enter the Button and the SW pin of the Pololu switch. Anode to SW and Kathode to the Button.

berrybase ships to italy, try it here:

Achtung, das ist nicht die LV Version. Die SV Version funktioniert nicht am Tonuino.
Attention, this is not thé lowVoltage Version. For thé Tonuino you need thé lowVoltage Version.LV.

ah you are right.
im sorry.

the pololu lv is unfortunatly out of stock, but try to write berrybase and ask when they get more of the lv switches.

This Shop ships to italy too and they have some Pololu lv in Stock i Orderd some Last week and they was delivered today
